Our Scholarship Funding Program

Support for Mathematics Students in Kaiserslautern

Financial Support: Strong Together – Our Financial Injection Paired With Individual Support!

Our Felix Klein scholarship recipients receive a monthly grant of €600 each. We take scholarships from other organizations into account in full, provided they are not used to finance semesters abroad.

The University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and the associated appendix apply to the awarding of scholarships. We do not grant subsidies for health and nursing care insurance or family and childcare allowances.

There is also no legal entitlement to the aforementioned benefits.

Study-Related Program: Support From Experts

Each participant in the Felix Klein Scholarship program is assigned a personal mentor from Fraunhofer ITWM. Regular networking meetings promote the exchange of experiences.

Participation in the Felix Klein Autumn School

Once a year, we organize a five-day modeling workshop for our Felix Klein scholarship holders. In small groups, they work together with researchers from Fraunhofer ITWM on exciting projects taken directly from real-world practice. As an annual highlight, the event offers an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas and gain new insights into everyday research!

Funding Period

A Felix Klein Scholarship is awarded for one year at a time. After that, an application for renewal must be submitted. Continuation depends on academic performance. The maximum funding period corresponds to the standard period of study of six semesters (three years) for a bachelor's degree and four semesters (two years) for a master's degree. Funding is discontinued upon de-registration.
