We Support STEM Teachers!

Our partner KOMMS offers continuing education courses and certificates for STEM teachers.

Certificate as a STEM Modeling Teacher

The aim of the certification program is to enable teachers to design modeling tasks themselves and integrate them into regular and project-based lessons.

Training Courses

KOMMS offers customized training courses on mathematical modeling and specific mathematical topics.

KOMMS-Reports

The KOMMS Reports series includes articles on various topics related to current project formats, ideas for modeling workshops, and much more!

We Support Young Talent in STEM!

It is important to us to encourage young people who are enthusiastic about mathematics. In our modeling workshops, we therefore give them insights into the everyday study and working life of mathematicians.

»Felix Klein Modeling Weeks«

KOMMS organizes a Felix Klein Modeling Week two to four times a year. This is a six-day project week during which secondary school students interested in mathematics and technology work on mathematical projects together with their (prospective) mathematics teachers and trainee teachers.

Modeling Days

KOMMS organizes modeling days lasting one to three days. Modeling days are offered for all types and levels of schools.

»Math-Talent-School«

Want to spend a week working on real mathematical problems? You can at the Math Talent School! Together with MINT-EC and KOMMS, we regularly offer workshops for students who are enthusiastic about science and introduce them to Kaiserslautern as a place to study. Teachers can recommend particularly gifted students.

Mathematics Day at RPTU

The day offers students insights into university life and studying mathematics. Teachers also have the opportunity to learn about what RPTU has to offer.
