Felix Klein Autumn School

Every autumn, we organize an intensive and exciting five-day Autumn School exclusively for our Felix Klein scholarship holders. This special event offers our scholarship holders the opportunity to work in small, focused groups on practical projects from the everyday work of Fraunhofer ITWM.

They are supported by an experienced team of researchers and doctoral students. Participants in the Autumn School not only benefit from an intensive exchange of knowledge and the opportunity to deepen their practical skills, but also from working with leading experts in their field.

At the end of the week, the results are presented in a detailed plenary session. This serves to reflect on the results and receive valuable feedback, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. 

From September 14 to 18, 2026, our dedicated scholarship recipients from a wide range of semesters had the opportunity to spend five days translating real-world problems into mathematical ones. In the process, they developed models, evaluated them, and reviewed the solutions for relevance.
